From tomorrow, the sea crossing project will reach two world records of Vietnam with a new move

According to the announcement of Sun World Ha Long about the period of periodic maintenance of the Queen's Cable Car, the cable car route will be suspended from October 5 to the end of October 9, 2026 and is expected to welcome guests back from October 10, 2026.

The maintenance lasts 5 days to maintain safe, stable operating conditions and service quality. Sun World Ha Long recommends that visitors proactively arrange a suitable sightseeing schedule during the temporary suspension of the cable route.

From October 10, 2026, the Queen's Cable Car will operate again, continuing to take visitors from Bai Chay area to Ba Deo area, opening up an aerial view to Cua Luc bay, Bai Chay bridge and Ha Long bay landscape.

The Queen Cable Car was set two world records by Guinness World Records shortly after its opening.

The Queen Cable Car belonging to Sun World Ha Long Complex in Quang Ninh, inaugurated on June 25, 2016 after about two years of construction. The project was designed by Doppelmayr (Austria) and Garaventa (Switzerland), connecting Bai Chay coastal playground with Ba Deo hill.

The highlight of the cable line is the two-story cabin design, each cabin can accommodate up to 230 people. The system operates in the form of a reversible cable car, with two cabins moving back and forth between stations. According to Sun World, transportation capacity reaches about 2,000 guests per hour.

The Queen's Cable Car connects Ocean Station (Bai Chay beach) to Sun Station (Three Pass Hill Peak) with a length of 2.222km. The journey lasts for 5 minutes, the cable car takes visitors across Cua Luc Bay, exploring the sea and sky of Ha Long from above.

The Queen's Cable Car is a cable route that reached 2 Guinness World Records right on the day of its inauguration: The cable car cabin has the largest capacity in the world, 230 people/cabin; The cable car has the highest cable pillar in the world above the ground (the first cable pillar by the fire station is 188.88 m high).
